“You have to fail if you want to succeed.” Failure is a scary thing, and most of us are afraid to take risks as it will be the reflection of our self-worth and capabilities. Now, we are recognizing failure in different approach as it allows us to learn from our mistakes.

One inspiring story of an OFW Filipina home care nurse in the United Arab Emirates has proven that you cannot just give up on your dreams despite failures. Jasmin, a thirty-two-year-old nurse from Tondo Manila, who has been working in the Middle East for almost four years, believes that to pursue your goals, you should praise it with perseverance and dedication.

In her live interview, she had shared how thankful she is to The Visa Center and her visa processing officer who helped her throughout the steps of her visa process. “Since then, I always pray to work and live in Canada,” she said. It became difficult as her first visa application in Canada have denied that led to her depression. She was devastated and felt demotivated with her Canada dream country. That time, one of her best friends invited her to be in Qatar to work there first until she moved to the United Arab Emirates to work. In a country wherein she became motivated and continue what she started and invested for applying in Canada.

Jasmin also shared that after the lodging of her visa, she started to pray for nine days novena, and she is always coming directly to the church after her work. “I always wish for three things. First, I wish that the process of my visa will become quicker, second is for its successful approval, and finally to celebrate Christmas with my family”, she explained. On her last and 9th day of the novena, the church is closed, so she decided to just pray outside. The day after her visa processing officer called her and informed her that her visa is granted. “I am more than happy, and I couldn’t believe in this good news!” Jasmin said. She is really grateful to The Visa Center for helping her throughout the process of her visa application and fulfilling her goals in her dream country.
